Returns & Refunds

We want you to be happy with your Karukhaya product. Should it not fit, however, or should you simply change your mind, we voluntarily offer you a 14-day return policy.

1. Return Period

You may return your order within 14 days of receiving the goods.

To meet this deadline, it is sufficient to inform us of your return by email within these 14 days. The goods must then be sent back to us within a reasonable period thereafter.

2. Conditions for a Return

A return is possible if the goods:

  • are unworn and unused,
  • show no signs of wear, staining, or damage,
  • are in their original condition,
  • are fitted with all original labels,
  • include any goodies that were originally enclosed, and
  • are returned in their original packaging.

Since our products are made from genuine sheepskin, natural variations in colour, texture, grain, and wool quality may occur. These natural characteristics do not constitute a defect.

We reserve the right to refuse a return or to claim a reduction in value if the goods have been used or damaged beyond what is necessary to check their size, fit, and quality.

3. Cost of Return Shipping

The cost of return shipping is borne by the customer.

We do not provide a free return label. Return shipping costs are, as a general rule, your responsibility. Unfortunately, we are unable to process returns that are insufficiently prepaid/franked. We recommend using a shipping service with tracking for your return. Karukhaya accepts no responsibility for returns that are lost in transit.

The original shipping costs of the order will not be refunded, unless the issue is attributable to an error on Karukhaya's part.

4. Refund

Once the returned goods have been received and inspected, we will refund the purchase price of the accepted return via the original payment method.

The refund will be issued within 14 days of receiving the return, provided the conditions for a return are met.

5. Incorrect Deliveries and Defective Products

Should you receive the wrong item, or should your product show a manufacturing or material defect, please contact us as soon as possible at Support@karukhaya.com.

Please include your order number and, if possible, photos of the issue.

If the fault is attributable to Karukhaya, we will cover the necessary return shipping costs and work with you to find a suitable solution.

6. Natural Characteristics of Sheepskin

Karukhaya uses genuine sheepskin. Each hide is a natural product and therefore unique.

Variations in:

  • colour
  • wool texture
  • wool length
  • density
  • grain and surface texture

are natural characteristics and not a manufacturing defect. Minor differences between two shoes, or between different pairs, are also possible and are part of the character of the material.
